Hi everyone. Unfortunately I’m still struggling with my health; I’ve been laid up with a stinking cold for the last week and I’m still recovering. I hope to be back to regular blogging by next week. In the meantime, here’s a couple of photos I took on Wednesday. It was one of those wonderful, crisp, clear winter days and although it happened depressingly early, the sunset was just spectacular.
Thank you Merle. I would enjoy winter a lot more if I didn’t always get ill! I don’t mind the cold too much and I very much enjoy the bleakness of the trees and plants.

Thank Ironchicken, I hope you’re recovered from your lurgi too. There seem to be a lot of really nasty bugs going around at the moment, everyone I know seems to have been ill, even the ones with robust immune systems.

Hoping to have a better Christmas than last year's flu-ridden affair

Yes, winter did seem to come early this year. But then we are treated with beauty like this.
Everybody over here has had some bug too. I enjoy your blog and get lots of ideas from it. Hope your back in “art shape” soon.
