Thank you Rosie, I did a bit more on Sunday and it’s looking even better now. This morning I bought the boxes to organise the jewellery tools and materials, so I should be able to get it totally finished in the next few days.

I’ve actually just freecycled the spinning wheel, Yemoonyah. It was given to me by a friend and it was missing a part. After four years I hadn’t got it up and running so I decided that I probably wasn’t ever going to so it’s gone to live with someone who knows how to mend it and how to spin.

It was the hardest thing to let go but it was feeling like a guilty obligation rather than a productive thing to have in my art space, so I decided to get rid of it. At the end of the day, I don’t need any more distractions to take me away from my art and it felt better that it should be used and loved by someone other than me.

congratulations… my studio is still missing half its floor because of a necessary rewiring project…. I am dying for my space back!!
