Two Things
Firstly, some of you may have noticed that comments aren’t always appearing straight away. Unfortunately we’ve had to tighten up security after the site was hit by a bot that can crack the anti-spam word feature. So if you’ve not commented on the site before, your comment now won’t appear until I’ve accepted it. I’m checking every day to make sure that comments don’t languish in purgatory for ages. If you’ve commented before, your comment should appear straight away unless you include any URL’s.
Secondly, in celebration of April Fool’s Day, here’s an art-related Absolutely Fabulous clip to brighten up your day.

I love it. This must be a British series because I’m not familiar with it but now I have lots of viewing material. It reminds me of Catherine Tate Show which I love. This gave me a great chuckle and it speaks volumes.

Very funny! I love Ab Fab and the caustically observed ‘how much did it set you back’ ‘hundreds of thousands of pounds’ ‘oh well in that case it’s fabulous’ is genius.

@ Margaret. Yes, Absolutely Fabulous is a well known British series. It’s well worth a look.
@ Felix. Yes, that part did for me too. A very cutting and sadly accurate comment on the art world.

I love the Ab Fab clip!
I once drew a cartoon of someone dutifully studying something in a gallery, after which he walked past the exact same thing in a dumpster in the street without noticing it.
Context is everything when it comes to unrecognizable art!
