Hi Cally, that sounds great - I'd definitely love to get together. I don't think that I'll be up in Scotland until July/August so I'll let you know nearer the time.

I think I'm going to make a slate border with my pile and maybe a sculpture if I can be bothered. I quite fancy a tower of them, they have holes in them so I could probably stabilise them with some steel rods or something similar. I did even have fantasies about making a water feature with copper piping coming up through the holes but that might be a little ambitious considering that I don't usually make that sort of sculpture. Sometimes I think that as artists, 'our eyes are bigger than our stomachs', as my mother used to say.

I'd be very happy to help you tick off 44 and 97 on the same day. Not that I go in anymore, the hiked the admission price big time since the book, but i can sit near the chapel with a picnic ready to save you from getting fleeced in the cafe as well :0)

Right, I'm off to remind Mr. P about the piles of slates we have each amassed in our own gardens that need used. A girl on freecycle wants 6 but never seems to come and get them. I have a little fantasy about having real tiles on my shed roof.c

Hi Rebecca, yes I listen to the Accidental Creative on occasion. I often find it a little bit corporate for my taste but there is some good stuff on there and I'll definitely have to check out the one on lists.

Hi Tay, thanks for your kind words about my work. I know what you mean about health and the overwhelm factor, both things I struggle with a lot. I have to keep reminding myself that it is over a longer time period than I'm used to and also that it's just a guideline to keep me on track and it's OK if some of them don't get done.

Hi Lindsay, sometimes I look at it and it wears me out a bit too but I crossed the first thing off it today, so that made me feel a bit better. It's not about doing them all at once, just about giving myself a push to complete those things that I've been finding it hard to get done.

What a list! I was just listening to a podcast last night over at the accidental creative that talked about list making. If you are not familiar with Todd Henry and his accidentalcreative.com you should really check him out. He gives great direction when it comes to list making and much more.

Thanks so much for showing us your list. Quite brave and inspiring to boot! It's good to remember that this is a list for a long period of time, nearly 3 years! Otherwise, just reading it, I am overwhelmed. I will be following your updates with interest.

While attracted to the project, with my current health stuff, I am hesitant to make such a list myself. I'm feeling hyper-aware of the pitfalls of "the best laid plans" thing. If anything, I am trying to just get more comfortable with the flow of life. I really like the notion of "all positive"...everything does boil down to how one looks at it, ya know.

I think you, your art and the list is brilliant and wish you many, many items happily crossed off.

Don't know how I found a link to your site, but thank you. I am very inspired, and even though I have not started a 101 things list, I did start, a blog (actually 2 blogs) and got my butt in gear on some other projects. Love your diary project, and if I could be the source of publishing it, I would.

Thank you
