I'm enjoying being on this book tour, learning so much useful information and meeting new bloggers/artists and seeing their work, yours is wonderful to behold, all at the same time.
Glad I stumpled onto this today. Now back to the studio! ;-)

Hi Sari, welcome to my blog, I'm glad you enjoyed looking at my work.

"I wonder if artists shall in the future be required not only to list ingredients used in a work of art, but the order in which they were applied…"

What an interesting idea. I'm sure that curators, historians and especially art conservationists would love it if we all did.

Thanks Jennie, I'm glad you found it helpful, I was worried that it might be a bit self-indulgent but I figured that I couldn't be the only person thinking about this.

Kirsty,

I am glad to have visited...thank you...Your work is very stimulating intellectually...I find the repetition very calming...like watching someone sew or knit...In particular, I found your reversal of an age-old technique in watercolour & ink very thought provoking...Merely by laying colour in before the ink lines, you have redefined the medium...I wonder if artists shall in the future be required not only to list ingredients used in a work of art, but the order in which they were applied...(I myself have tried several times in oils to redraw my original sketch on top of the colours, not with much success yet, but perhaps I will try again...)thanks for the interview, which brought me here...Sari
