Orange And Blue
These were all taken today in the early morning sunlight. The autumn has been exquisite this year - it almost makes up for the rather drab summer.
Our beech tree is in its full glory - right before it covers the entire garden with millions of leaves!

I like the dark background on this but I’m not quite sure how I did it.

No fancy Photoshop, this was just taken through one of our very old and distorted Victorian window panes.

The morning sunlight on the woodwork in the kitchen. Yes, it really is that blue.

Lovely photos… that blue is my favorite color in the world… “swimming pool blue” … not even one color, but a symphony of blues and whites, really.

Gorgeous, Kristy! I’ve come back to reading inspiring blogs again, after a long while. I was sucked into the election here in the US for some time, it was such a nail-biting process, but so exciting.
Your blog always inspires and makes me think I need to write more!

Nice to see you (and your woodwork) still blogging once in a while.
It looks like ripples in water to me. (predictable aren’t I?)

autumn is my favorite time of the year, for me it’s always a time of reflection, a time to begin again on new projects through the dark of winter… unfortunately it has come and gone in upstate NY and winter is already here, cold dark and threatening snow, so thanks for a glimpse into the past, gold an blue and perfect. I’m going to pull the blankets over my head and hibernate!
