Kirsty, thank you for inspiring me with your bravery and spirit! It's very easy for us to talk a big game but run hiding from a little thing as simple as singing a song - but you *shone.*
I should say, as an aside, that I know Bristol very well. We used to tour there with WNO three times a year, so the Hippodrome was like a second home. :)
Keep singing your truth!

Thank you Natalie, right back at ya!
And if you're ever back in Bristol, we'll definitely have to get together. :) It's a brilliant city, I love it. I'm from Scotland originally but I feel very at home here.

I really enjoyed this post. It came at a time when I was questioning why I was continuing to make art but didn’t show it to any one because it wasn’t work that was for sale. But in the end I’ve decided that selling cannot be the point of making art. Nice if it happens but not the main point. What is important is to share the work I do. Tough when everything isn’t good enough, but my doubts and fearfulness has become part of the process and the work. I am not any braver but some days are better than others.

Hi GB, I'm glad this came at the right time for you. It's great that you're examining what truly matters to you in your artistic career, too few artists do that. We all have days when we're not at all brave, which is why I suggested only being a little bit brave.

Firstly: I really like your website, what you got going here somehow gets me excited about sharing my work with the world.
"Sometimes the work won't become complete until you share it", rang true for me. That's pretty deep, you know?
Thanks Kirsty!
