I won an award!

Ooh, ooh a present!

Inspirational blogger award

Huge thanks to Mandy from Feltbug for very kindly nominating me for an Inspirational Blogger Award. I am hugely touched and very flattered to have won something like this, particularly since this is such a new blog.

I now have to nominate five other people and it was a tough choice, I can tell you.

Cally Creates gets a Courageous Blogger Award. Her blog is consistently inspiring and interesting - she blogs better than a great many bloggers who aren't struggling with a chronic illness.

Yarnstorm gets an Inspirational Blogger Award. I've been reading her blog for years and she always makes me drool with her 'slice of life' writing and luscious photos.

Solveigh Goett from The Textile Files gets a Creative Blogger Award for her innovative use of blogging to create an online art project.

Susie Bright gets a Courageous Blogger Award for being a wondrous funky chick who tells it like it is - I love her bravery in tackling taboo sexual subjects that lots of other bloggers wouldn't touch with a bargepole!

Kim Carney over at Something to Say gets an Inspirational Blogger Award for her inspiring combination of gorgeous photos and masses of delicious links.

........

The Awards come originally from Writers Review, an interesting site that I'm pleased to have discovered.

  1. Wow, thank you! Seriously, I'm amazed, blushing but oh so pleased by what you said. I am already two tags behind so I may have to do some bumper tag-fest when I'm feeling more up to it, but there will definitely be a delay as health is less good than I imply on the blog (a few folk who read it would be freaked and fuss if they knew how ill I get).

Of course, heading over here to say thank you has resulted in the inevitable, I've been looking and following links for 3 hours!!! It's 1.15am and I needed to be in bed by 10pm. Oops, but it has been wonderful to catch up with your diary project, and spooky too as part of what I've been finding recently is old sketchbooks of drawings in the same vein, I forgot I'd been so obsessed with them (I had a thing for things seen under the microscope as well as my ongoing seed/pod fetish). I'll post some pics of them for you next week.

Blimey, I must go to bed, but you know what, even if this night of blog reading knocks me out for a bit I reckon it was worth it, I feel all connected to fave UK bloggers again (popped into feltbug and marion as well, though not got energy to do comments yet, but I will try tomorrow).

Thanks again. Apologies for outrageous length comment :0)

PS, gagging to properly read what's on this blog, looks like you've put loads into it since I was last here, but I may have to save that delight for when a) I'm healthier and b) Mr P stops acting like he owns his laptop and goes back to the previous status quo where I had 23hr access and he 'borrowed' it occasionally to check emails and football scores.
